Weber Waterproofing Solutions

In the fight against the "Leakage Monster", choose the Best

Water ingress in concrete structure can adversely affect not only the structural strength and durability of concrete structure but also affect the aesthetics and may even lead to the growth of fungus and moulds which can be harmful to the health of the people in the vicinity. A correct selection of a waterproofing system is extremely critical for having a durable system resistant to water and protect the concrete and reinforcements from degrading.

Safeguard the strength of your home and the health of your family members with Weber waterproofing solutions. Trust the most advanced, quick, effective and durable waterproofing chemicals for long-lasting, high-performance results.

Roof / Terrace Waterproofing

Roof and Terraces are subject to extreme vagaries of weather like heat-cold cycles, UV rays, pollutants in the air, rains, concrete cracks etc. A waterproofing membrane acts as a barrier which restricts the passage of water and protects the roof from such adverse environmental conditions. You need solutions that protect it through the seasons.

Storage Tank Waterproofing

Water in storage tank exerts a huge amount of (hydrostatic) pressure on the walls of concrete and this leads to the development of hairline cracks which may lead to water loss. Waterproofing membrane must be non-toxic and suitable for contact with potable water-resisting water pressure.

Factors to be considered are as follows,

  • Conditions the particular area would be subject to (indoor/outdoor/basement)
  • Accessibility of area in future
  • Hydrostatic pressure
  • Environmental conditions in the application area
  • Temperature variation
  • The criticality of that particular area
  • Desired longevity (life) of the waterproofing system

The positive side is the same side of the structure, as the source of the water. It can be applied above, below, or at grade to surfaces that will get wet due to exposure to weather conditions and the surrounding soil.

Positive waterproofing is a critical step in construction because it prevents moisture infiltration and protects structural components, including concrete and steel.

The negative side is the opposite side of the structure as the source of the water. Negative side waterproofing keeps water from entering an occupied space and is applied to what is known as the dry face.
Negative side waterproofing does not prevent the water from entering the substrate (wall).

Damp-proofing is the treatment of a surface to retard the absorption of moisture in the absence of hydrostatic pressure.
